Hi! It's The Lemur over @ The Lemur Blog http://thelemurblog.blogspot.com/
Sunday July 27 is my birthday and I'm reaching out with this mass-created message to all 100-something blogs in my blogroll asking them to send me a nice birthday track! I would like a track to thelemurblog@hotmail.com by Sunday, when I will be posting all tracks in a nice mix - of course linking to the blogs by their respective tracks! Thanks in advance!

Yours sincerely, The Lemur

Not usually the stuff I tend to listen to but I think it's pretty intersting and unique - so points for that in my book.

Really now? Thats strange seeing as the GH3 guitar works on Rock Band, but it further proves my point. If you can't get everything working across existing games, how's it going to be in the NEXT generation with another game thrown in the mix?

I must say, I've tried GH 1 through 3, and Rock Band is by far my favourite. Barring some minor things that irk me, its pretty damn good as it is.

You do have a point though, having the consistent DLC keeps me going back for new songs ever once in a while.

Keep in mind that the Rock Band guitar doesn't work on the Xbox 360 copies of Guitar Hero II or III. Right now the most compatible controller across all the games is the original Guitar Hero II one.

Frankly, Harmonix are the only people who've committed to weekly releases of downloadable content. Even Guitar Hero III didn't do that at launch, and it's what keeps me coming back to the game.

I've actually never had a chance to use it, but they have it around campus at my school and I hear its ridiculously fast. But yeah, the unreliability could be a problem - don't want a few wise ass nerds labeling an "adult movie" audio track as the latest top 40 tunes :P.

I miss Direct Connect aka DC in the list. Not always very reliable when it comes to file safety or authenticity but at the right connections you can download a considerable amount of music incredibly fast.
